UGC - What it is?
What stands for UGC? UGC means User Generated Content and this is the magic Top Word for the next few years. If you surf through various news sources you’ll see that this abbreviation - "UCG" is mentioned a lot of times. Many business news are full of this discussions, comments and talks. And what is this all about? Nothing new, dear fellows, nothing new - by the way - users always generate content.... But, this is new way and new approach to a better internet economy. Why?
When we discuss about UGC is always the new business model - revenue share - mentioned. This new business model - revenue share - is basic pre-condition for UCG and it is is succesfully implemented into nowadays technologies. More and more new online startups use revenue share business model for their services. In general, thise startups are mostly social networks or similar community sites. There are special plugins (ad-ons) for revenue sharing, developed for most popular CMS platforms. Users contribute in revenue from the content they generate and they don't need to have their own websites. They can be members of these new startups which offers them all available tools for start. As a user you might ask what's about authorizing and copywright notices? This issue also changes. There are various levels of protection for your generated content available today. This level goes from totally free to complete protected content. These are just examples.
